Our Health and Disease team focuses on historical and contemporary epidemiological and public health data to interrogate the intersections between environment, disease and health in the Indian Ocean World.

Climate Modelling

Using climatological and environmental datasets from across the world, the climate modelling team uses cutting-edge analytical methods, digital analysis, and GIS modelling software to provide information on the status and impact of climactic effects on the Indian Ocean World.

GIS and Data Analysis

Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing platforms, and other geospatial tools are a critical element of the partnership. This team is composed of specialists in the use of mapping, surveying, and sensing tools and techniques, ranging from contemporary LiDar to novel applications of historical geospatial data.
